These courses are available at Half Term (Spring Term), Easter Break and during the Summer Holidays. They enable the pupils to revise, acquire a sound way of working or just develop self-confidence. Pupils may leave the school at the end of each course on Friday afternoons and parents have then the possibility to meet the teachers. A full report on the pupil’s work is also sent to the families.
Pupils can attend the course for one week at Half Term (Spring Term) and Easter Break, and for two or three weeks during the Summer Holidays.
Each week consists of twenty classes from 1st to 4th Form and twenty-five classes for 5th and 6th Forms.
Revisions are held in the three main subjects (Mathematics, French and English) at all levels, apart from Lower 6th and Upper 6th Forms who may choose from Economics, Physics and Biology according to their options.
Each class also takes a daily Learning Strategy Course.
There are activities every afternoon.
This course includes an evaluation of weak areas in the learning process. This test has been designed by psychologists and our own teachers; it lays the emphasis on the pupils’ assets, identifies the problems and offers individual remedies.

Careers
Pupils who attend one of our training courses may opt to benefit from careers advice. The teacher in charge meets personally with pupils regarding general careers issues and the interactive test helps decide about future jobs prospects.
A report together with the test results is sent to the families.
With Scoladis, get the efficiency of our methods and the experience of our school at home.
You may either assess your weaknesses or revise some subjects. With our “Knowledge and Skills Test”, the learner is able to choose his own programme and work at a pace which suits him best.
The Revision Programme is especially meant for :
- Children who do understand the lessons but who do not know how to use their knowledge and so need to practise.
- Children who have already attended one of our training courses and who are keen on training at home, with our methods and our teachers’ help.
The training contains worksheets and tests which are adapted to each pupil’s needs and followed up by our teachers.
Knowledge and Skills Test
This test is designed to pupils aged 11 to 18 who want to find out about their weaknesses and be given the right way to improve.
It assesses the student’s knowledge and skills in a given subject. A minute report will then be established thanks to the results of the test, together with a thorough analysis of the child’s school reports and a written questionnaire addressed both to the child and his parents.
Worksheets
The worksheets are designed by our teachers who know precisely the main parts and difficulties of the syllabus. They contain lessons and exercises. The pupil will find two types of exercises: those with the correct version and those to be sent back for marking.
“Bite-size” sheets are also available, summarizing the main parts of a given topic and helping the student have a good grasp of the syllabus.
The student’s work schedule is personalised as he may choose the parts of the curriculum on which he wishes to work.
The child may correspond with the teacher by mail or the internet (tests) and by phone (questions / commentaries). The teachers in charge are experienced and already familiar with tutoring.
Please note that there are no correct versions sent back.
On request, a certificate of attendance to this course will be sent.

Training courses in Great Britain are available at Easter break and during the summer holidays. They are different from other programmes inasmuch as they combine a proficiency course in English, some Mathematics and French training as well as Learning Strategy lessons.
There is also a full schedule of activities and outings which enable the children to find out about the British culture and traditions.
The pupils are accompanied by a member of our academic staff and are accommodated by very carefully selected families. There is the guarantee of one French-speaking child per family only.
