The Institut Bois-Robert

The Institut Bois-Robert is a welcoming and lively place.
The pupils live 10 months a year in surroundings favourable to their well-being and self-development. The houses ideally scattered on the school grounds create a community far from the bustling of the cities.

The single-sex houses in which the pupils are accommodated have various bedrooms from 6 to 10 beds for the 11-15 and 3 beds for the 16-18.

The school is set on a rural and leafy setting of about 10 hectares. It is composed of 4 houses where the children are accommodated, an indoor sports hall and outdoor playing fields, as well as the main office building.

Our in-house catering team and his Chef provide all meals, both to pupils and staff. Meals are served centrally in the dining-hall. There are freshly and balanced dishes, and the Chef is happy to cater for any special dietary requirements. A committee composed of children and adults may meet in order to always improve our service, and it also offers some thematic meals throughout the year.

Bécon-les-Granits

The school is located in Bécon-les-Granits, a small village at about 20 km from Angers and 5 km from the motorway A11. The village offers the main facilities for shopping and leisure.

Angers
Angers is the 16th most important city in France by its number of inhabitants. Indeed, Angers and its suburbs have a total population of 260,000 people. It can be easily reached by rail (1.30 from Paris, 45 min from Nantes, 4.00 from Lyon), by road (2.30 from Paris and 45 min from Nantes by the A11), and by air either at Angers-Marcé or Nantes International Airport.
Angers is a cultural city with its famous King René’s Castle, its cathedral, its museums and its film festival- the Festival d’Anjou. But Angers is also a dynamic and lively university town with one of the four French Catholic universities.
