The boarding-school favours academic success.
The pupils are taken care of in a peaceful environment far away from the usual enticements. We ensure no waste of time and tiredness due to commuting. For those young people in need of a balanced life, boarding is often the best solution. Yet, a boarding-school is not just about learning ; it has also to do with education.
It is a place to learn autonomy and one’s sense of responsibility, to discover and develop one’s skills.
There are no day pupils at IBR.
The students are weekly or full boarders only, and the day’s organisation is very specific.
For instance, from 1st to 5th Form, prep time is compulsory in the morning and late afternoon ; there are activities after classes and some time to relax in the evening.
6th Formers have an intense training programme in order to prepare for the National Examinations.
Our school is also opened at the weekend and during most of the holidays so that the children who are far from home can work in the best conditions.

Our small-sized classes (15 max) ensure that each pupil is fully taken into account through exchanges and individual help.
We are highly skilled at Tutoring: our qualified staff care for the pupils’ needs and can quickly analyse their level and weaknesses to help them in an effective way.
Our Learning Strategy Course has been very helpful since its creation some 10 years ago, providing the pupils a better organisation and more efficiency in their work.
